FAST Ride (Sunday August 16, 2009) - An escorted motorcycle ride from Elmhurst to Morris and back, including lunch at the Moose Lodge in Morris as well as dinner and a live band at Galway Cafe. There will also be a raffle, a cash prize will go to the winner and the 2nd and 3rd place winners will also each get a new T.V.. This fundraiser is $15 per person, and those who register before August 1 get a free Fast Ride tee shirt.

Three Legislative Initiatives: 

  • Surgeon General Warning Sign about consequences of Alcohol use during pregnancy - prominent placement in 21,000 Liquor License holders' establishment

  • Marriage Licenses issuecd by 92 county clerks in illinois to include surgeon general warning about the consequences of alcohol use during pregnancy.

  • Funding request to state of illinois for outreach/education center ($250,000) third attempt
